If you have the extra cash, go check this concert out. It's taking place at Birch North Park Theater. I've heard it's a cool place to check out talent, so I'm looking forward to going there. I love new venues!
You will be amazed by the talents of legendardy Allen Toussaint. He is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, a wonderful musican, and is a 2007 Grammy nominee. He hails from New Orleans, so you know it's going to be soulful!
Opening for Allen Toussaint will be A.J. Croce . He is a local musician with his own record company - Seedling Records. He currently has Dirty Sweet, Gregory Page, and Gilbert Castellanos, all local favorites. A.J. Croce is the son of Jim Croce - singer-songwriter from the 60's & early 70's that died tragically in a plane crash in 1973. A.J. has his own voice and is a very talented musician. He's at home on the piano, but is a great guitar player.
