but Spoon is now out of the line-up.

I'm not happy with that. I really wanted to see Spoon. I wonder what happened?

I'm excited! It's mostly because of Pete Yorn and Cake, but I'll probably be at some of the other shows. The concerts are free with paid admission to the Del Mar Race Track. The band goes on after the last race, so the time may vary from show to show. The place where the bands usually play is pretty cool, but if you want to be upfront, you need to get there early. If I recall, I think you might be able to just buy a ticket to the show - but you might want to double-check that.

Cold War Kids at Street Scene 2007

You heard it first at SD: Dialed In.

I'm excited. I've never seen them. I think it'll be fun. The White Stripes though are another story. I've seen them live and I thought they were boring. But since the Cold War Kids are touring with The White Stripes, there's a good chance that they will be coming to San Diego.

I just really, really hope they get the Smashing Pumpkins on the bill.

2007 Street Scene at Del Mar Fairgrounds

I have it under good authority that Street Scene WILL be at The Del Mar Fairgrounds this year.

There will be 5 stages to choose from. They will have 2 small stages, 2 big stages, and an even bigger stage. This probably means that they'll have a good variety of acts and perhaps more than last year.

They'll have a V.I.P section and 2 large backstage areas and a major food court section in one of the buildings.

What else? Um, nothing else for now.

San Diego County Fair News

New to the San Diego County Fair this year is the fact that the previously 21 and up stage (Coors Light Rock-On Stage) will be all-ages! They will have a beer garden near the stage for the drinkers.

Good? Bad?

I'm in the middle about it. I liked buying my drinking and walking to the front of the stage. I hope they don't put the beer garden in some weird place near the stage. We'll see.

Also, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds will be playing as well.

Dirty Frank - San Diego County Fair 2007

Another tidbit about the fair.

Dirty Frank will be performing at the San Diego County Fair aka Del Mar Fairgrounds.

They are a Pearl Jam tribute band. I've never heard of them or seen them, but I think I may do so this summer.

I'm still laughing at their name. hahaha Hmmm, dirty sanchez...

The Iron Maidens - San Diego County Fair 2007

This just in...

The Iron Maidens will be playing at the 2007 San Diego County Fair aka Del Mar Fair.

They are an all female Iron Maiden tribute band recognized worldwide.

I've heard good things about them. They may be a lot of fun to watch.

The Animals - San Diego County Fair

The Animals will be at the San Diego County Fair aka Del Mar Fairgrounds.

How cool is that??? I will be there!

Beatallica -Appearing at San Diego County Fair

Do you love the Beatles?

Do you love Metallica?

Check out Beatallica at the San Diego County Fair (aka Del Mar Fair) on June 22, 23 or 24th.

They play all Beatles songs but in the style of Metallica. I am excited to see them at the Fair. I think they're going to be awesome.

They'll be on the Coors Light Rock On stage, so you know what that means. Alcohol!
